The real-time PCR Tube Strips are thin-walled polypropylene disposables (for the
real-time PCR) for the application in routine, research and training laboratories of
the medical, clinical diagnostics, industrial and chemical sector. The real-time
PCR Tube Strips are only to be operated by skilled personnel.
The Masterclear Cap Strips are tube lids for the PCR for the application in routine,
research and training laboratories of the medical, clinical diagnostics, industrial
and chemical sector. The Masterclear Cap Strips are only to be operated by
skilled personnel.
The vapor volume above the liquid is reduced by combining these tubes and lid
strips. The system is therefore suitable for "low volume" PCR applications.
Because of the construction of the lid the maximum filling volume of the tubes is
reduced from nominal 150 µl to 80 µl strip.
– Reagents can cause causticization and other damage to health. Samples can
be infectious or cause other damage to health. Follow the respective national
regulations when handling liquids marked as poisonous, aggressive or
radioactive or, when handling pathogenic germs. Dispose reagents or micro
test tubes contaminated by reagents and clean and disinfect used materials
according to the regulations by the laboratory.
– Make adequate safety arrangements for the transport or storage outside of the
laboratory to prevent materials escaping the tubes.
– Prevent micro test tubes from tipping over: store in suitable micro test tubes.
– Seal the real-time PCR Tube Strips prior to centrifugation.
Pay attention to the operating manuals of the device when operating
centrifuges or other devices.
