3 Transport, Storage, Installation Location
3.1 Transport
and
Storage Conditions
During transport and storage, the system must be protected against mechanical
shock, vibration, dust deposits, and corrosive atmospheres. In addition, the relative
humidity should not exceed 80 %. Transport should only be undertaken with the unit
in its original packing.
3.2 Unpacking
Please unpack system components carefully and check for any signs of damage. It
is important that any transport damage is noted during unpacking. If necessary, the
damage must be assessed immediately by the transport company (post, railway or
transport contractor).
3.3
Scope of Supply
The standard scope of supply of the Decomposition System AOD 1 consists of:
• 1 x Remote Ignition Unit AOD 1.2 (see Pos. 1 in illustration) with ventilation grip
• 1 x Decomposition Vessel AOD 1.1 (see Pos. 2 in illustration)
with fixed platinum ignition wire C 5012.3 and a carrying grip
• 1 x Oxygen Filling Station C 48 (see Pos. 4 in illustration)
• 1 x IKA
control standard for chlorine and sulphur AOD 1.11 (not illustrated)
• Operating Instructions for Decomposition System AOD 1, Oxygen Filling Sta-
tion C 48 and Decomposition Vessel AOD 1.1 (not illustrated)
