Conservation Issues
Your washing machine uses water, energy and
detergent efficiently, thereby protecting the
environment and reducing your household costs.
See Page 61 for consumption values of your
appliance.
Using your washing machine in an efficient and
environmentally friendly manner:
q Do not exceed recommended load.
Cottons+Linens 6.5 kg
EasyĆcare 3.5 kg
Delicates and Woollens 2.0 kg
Silk 2.0 kg
q Where possible, use the 60 ° C Stains"
programme instead of the 90 ° C Cottons+Linens"
programme. The extended washing time achieves
a cleaning result comparable to that of the 90 ° C
programme, but uses considerably less energy.
q Do not use prewash for lightly to normally soiled
washing.
q Add detergent according to the degree of soiling,
amount of laundry and water hardness, and
observe the detergent manufacturer's instructions.
q If washing is then to be dried in the tumble dryer,
select spin speed in accordance with the
instructions supplied by the dryer manufacturer.
Hints and tips
