Scope of application
1.
Labelling the hose lines
2.
1. The hose lines must not be subjected to tension (see Fig. 1 / 1).
2. The hose lines must not be bent to a radius R
min
smaller than the one specified in the
section "Technical data" (see Fig. 1 / 2). If necessary, use suitable connection fittings.
3. The hose lines must not be laid over edges or pulled (see Fig. 1 / 3). If this cannot be
avoided, use suitable protective sleeves.
4. The hose lines must not be subjected to torsion, e.g. due to twisted connections
(see Fig. 1 / 4).
5. Loose hose lines laid on roadways and walkways are to be protected against mechanical
damage, abrasion and /or deformation e.g. by hose bridges (see Fig. 1 / 5).
6. The hose lines need to be protected from high temperatures via appropriate measures,
e.g. by guards (see Fig. 1 / 6).
7. Never hang weights or mechanical loads on the hose lines.
8. Protect the hose lines from electrical current transfers or high voltage flashovers.
LUKAS hydraulic hose lines are used exclusively to transfer hydraulic fluid between two
devices. Any use that differs or goes beyond this is considered
improper. The manufacturer
/ supplier shall not be held liable for damages resulting from improper use! The risk shall be
borne solely by the user!
LUKAS hydraulic hose lines are specified for use with LUKAS devices. Using the equipment
of other manufacturers is possible, but requires the consent of LUKAS in each individual
case.
Strict care should be taken that the maximum permissible operating pressure of the hose line
is not exceeded under any circumstances.
The permissible operating media that may be transported in the hose lines are specified in
the Technical Data chapter.
Aggressive media
3.
The hose lines are labelled as follows at the junction point
(see chapter "Figures" / Fig. 2):
HK = Herstellkennzeichen (manufacturing code) MM = month manufactured
YY = year manufactured
P
max
= max. permissible operating
pressure

Aggressive media, e.g.:
Required action:
Brake fluid
Immediately wash the hose with plenty of water
and dry it with a soft cloth. After that, check the
hose for damages and store the hose separately
for min. 1 week. Check the hoses for damages,
before start-up using them again.
