STEP 1 :
Make sure you have all necessary tools and
hardware.
Hardware Kit Includes : ( all Grade 8 )
( 4 ) Double Bolt Plates (mfg. part)
( 6 ) 1/2 - 13 x 1.5 bolt
( 4 ) 1/2 Push on Retainers
( 18 ) 1/2 Flat Washers
( 14 ) 1/2 Lock Washers
( 14 ) 1/2 - 13 Hex Nut
( 2 ) Three-Way Nut Plates (mfg. part)
( 6 ) 7/16 - 14 x 1.5 Bolts
( 6 ) 7/16 Flat Washers
( 6 ) 7/16 Lock Washers
( 4 ) 3/8 Socket Cap Winch Bolts
( 4 ) 7/16 Socket Cap Winch Bolts
( 1 ) Road Armor Logo (large)
STEP 2:
• Park on a level surface
• Pop Hood
• Remove license plate
• Disconnect battery
• Remove the Hood Latch. Pic 2
• Remove Bumper 18mm Mounting Bolts. Pic 3
• Remove Lower Bumper Support Bolts. Pic 4
• Remove Facotry Bumper
• Remove Tow Hook Assembly (15mm). Pic 6
• Your Truck should look like Picture 5 once every-
thing is removed.
STEP 3:
• Mount up the brackets to the frame using the bolt
tabs and supplied hardware. Tighten the hardware
finger tight. Pic 8 - 9
• Place the 1/2 bolts through the holes on the bum-
per and use the retaining clips to keep the tabs
from falling back when installing the bumper.
-If can’t push the retaining clips on with your fin-
gers grab a socket and push them on with a socket.

• Mount the hood latch to the Bumper mount. Pic 11
• Install the Road Armor bumper onto the mounts using
the 1/2 hardware.
• Once that’s complete measure the gaping on both sides
to ensure the proper alignment. Use a body line or the
headlight to measure from.
• Now that everything is all mounted up and aligned,
tighten all the hardware and add the Road Armor em-
blem.
