Switching SHARX on/off

Press the

MENU•OK button

“TUNER MENU” appears on the display.

Press the

MENU•OK button

play the tuner menu.

until “SHARX” appears on the display.

Press the or button

6 to switch

SHARX on/off.

“SHARX OFF” means automatic bandwidth
switching is deactivated, “SHARX ON”
means it is activated.

Press the

MENU•OK button

7 and

then the

DIS•ESC button

5 to exit the

menu.

Confi guring the display

In radio mode, you can choose between
various display modes.

“NORMAL MODE”
First line: Memory bank and sta-
tion name (if it can be received)
Second line: frequency of the selected
station.

“CLOCK MODE”
First line: Memory bank and sta-
tion name (if it can be received)
Second line: frequency of the selected
station and clock time.

“MINIMAL MODE”
First line: Memory bank and sta-
tion name (if it can be received)
Second line: No display.

Activating/deactivating the
radio text display

Some stations use the RDS signal to broad-
cast scrolling texts known as radio texts.
You can allow radio texts to be displayed or
you can block them.

Since displaying radio texts can distract you
from the current road and traffi c situation,
we ask you kindly to deactivate the “radio
text” function or to use it only whilst the ve-
hicle is stationary.

Press the

MENU•OK button

7.

“TUNER MENU” appears on the display.

Press the

MENU•OK button

7 to dis-

play the tuner menu.

Press the or button

6 repeatedly

until “R-TEXT” appears on the display.

Press the or button

6 to switch

RADIOTEXT on/off.

“R-TEXT OFF” means that no radio texts will
be displayed and “R-TEXT ON” means they
will be displayed.

Press the

MENU•OK button

7 and

then the

DIS•ESC button

5 to exit the

menu.
