Reinstalling the Differential and Axles
Apply gasket sealant (or a gasket) to the differential cover plate and
reinstall it onto the housing.
Tighten all cover bolts according to the torque specifications in your
vehicle manufacturer’s service manual.
Replace the stub axle seals if necessary.
Reassemble and reinstall the differential assembly according to
your vehicle service manual.
NOTE : Be careful not to damage the stub axle oil seals when
inserting the axles.
Reinstall the driveshaft.
