Flashes when handset is not registered to any base.

Lets you page the handset.
Also used to register handsets.

ON – Handset charging.
Power/In use light
ON – Standby.
Flashes – In registration mode.
Flashes – During a call.
Flashes – When the phone rings.
Flashes – To indicate new SMS
messages.
