background image

The light of the selected temperature lights up.

Note: If you cannot set the desired temperature, the current temperature of

the water in the kettle is higher than the temperature you want to set. The

current temperature is shown by the number of lights that are on.

Press the on/off button to switch on the appliance (Fig. 6).

Note: If you do not press the on/off button within 10 seconds after setting

the temperature, the set temperature is lost.

While the water heats up, the current temperature is shown by the

number of lights that are on and the light of the set temperature

flashes. (Fig. 11)

When the kettle has reached the set temperature, you hear an

audible signal (one beep) and the kettle switches off automatically.

The light ring around the on/off button goes off.

The light of the set temperature stays on for 120 seconds to let

you know the water has just reached the preset temperature.

You can adjust the set temperature while the kettle is operating. This is

only possible if the temperature of the water is still below the newly set

temperature.
Note: If you remove the kettle from the base, the set temperature is lost.

You can use the keep-warm function to keep water warm at a

temperature of 100°, 80°, 60°C or 40°C.

There are two ways to keep water warm: at the current temperature, or

at a temperature higher than the current temperature.
Only use the keep-warm function when there is at least 0.5l water in

the kettle. If there is too little water in the kettle, the kettle may switch

off within 30 minutes to protect the heating element.
