Phonebook with Caller Display
If you subscribe to a Caller Display
service, and want the names in
your Phonebook displayed instead
of the phone numbers, you must
store the full telephone number
including the full dialling code.
Insert a ‘pause’ in a stored
number
You may need to enter a pause
when storing international
numbers, charge card numbers or
if you connect your telephone to a
switchboard. (For more information
on use with a switchboard, see
page 69)
When storing a number, at the
point you want to insert a pause,
press and hold
until
P
is
displayed.
You may enter as many pauses as
required.
5. Press

NUMBER?
is displayed, enter the telephone
number and press
.
Now either press
to enter another entry or press
and hold
to return to standby.
Dial from the phonebook
1. Press
to display
PHONEBK
.
2. Press
and
LIST
is displayed. Press
again
.
3. Press
or
to scroll to the entry you want.
Or
Press
then use
or
to scroll to the entry
you want.
Or
Press
then enter the first letter of the name you
want, e.g. for Tom, press
to search for names
beginning with
T
.
4. Press
to dial.
