Thermal shielding for turbo charger
This cover plate prevents any infl am-
mable debris from being deposited
and igniting at the turbocharger – the
hottest part of the exhaust system. Heat insulation for exhaust system
In some cases it might be necessary
to encase the whole exhaust gas
system with heat insulation. This is a
reliable way to prevent infl ammable
materials from coming into contact
with the exhaust gas system. Fire extinguisher /
fi re suppression system
A 6 kg fi re extinguisher can be
mounted within arms length of the
driver.
Complete fi re suppression systems
with manual or automatic trigger-
ing provide an even higher level of
safety. They help to keep damage to
a minimum in case a fi re occurs.
Additional cab air fi ltration
An external fi ltration system can be
installed for ambient air with extreme-
ly high levels of dust or pollutants.
It supplies the cab with clean air,
which has been fi ltered several
times.
