Regularly remove dust from the outside of the appliance with a dry cloth.
1 Unplug the appliance before you clean it.
2 Clean the outside of the appliance with a dry cloth.
Do not let water run into the appliance or spill water onto the appliance (Fig. 20).
Environment
- Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but
hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 21).

The base is only covered by the guarantee if it fails due to a technical problem. The base is not
covered by the guarantee if it fails due to misuse or because it has been dropped.
