You treated
an area for
which the
appliance is
not intended.
Only use the appliance on the
underarms, pubic area (excluding the
scrotum), shoulders, chest, back and
legs.
You have
used a light
intensity
which is too
high for you.
Reduce the light intensity to a level
that is comfortable for you. See
chapter ‘Preparing for use’, section
‘Setting the light intensity’.
The UV
filter of the
light exit
window is
broken.
If the UV filter of the light exit
window is broken, do not use the
appliance any more. Contact the
Consumer Care Centre in your
country, your Philips dealer or a Philips
service centre.
The
appliance is
not suitable
for your skin
colour.
Do not use the appliance if you have
a very dark skin. Do not use it either if
your body hair is light blond, red, grey
or white.
The treated
areas
become red
after the
treatment.
Slight
redness is
harmless and
normal and
disappears
quickly.
No action required.
