Problem

Solution

The beaters or

kneading hooks are

difficult to insert.

Do not insert the beaters or kneading hooks with

great force. If they do not click into position, slightly

push and turn them to the left or right until you

hear a click.

The beaters or

kneading hooks

cannot be removed

from the appliance.

Pull up the eject lever as high as possible. If the

beaters or kneading hooks do not fall out of the

appliance by themselves, you can assist a little by

pulling them out with your hand.

The appliance gives

off an unpleasant

smell and/or gives

off smoke.

Switch off the appliance and unplug it. Let the

appliance cool down for at least 30 minutes. When

the problem persists, go to the nearest Philips

service centre or your dealer for assistance.

The mixer stops

during mixing.

The appliance has a built-in overheat protection. This

built-in safety system switches off the mixer if the

motor becomes too hot because you have been

mixing too long and/or because of a too heavy load.

Unplug the mixer and let it cool down for 30

minutes.
