Place the battery in the position shown.

Install the battery cover by sliding it onto
the back of the handset.
Note
• After battery replacement, you should set
the date and time.
(See Date and Time on page 20.)
• Be sure to dispose of the expired battery
as directed by local regulations for the
disposal of nickel metal hydride battery.
