IMPORTANT: Britax recommends that the Versa-

be used at all times. Using the tether will

improve the stability of the child seat and reduce the

risk of injury. Check your vehicle owner’s manual for

approved tether anchor locations.

If vehicle is equipped with an approved tether

anchor for the chosen seating position, remove

Versa-Tether

®

from pouch and place up and over

child seat back.

Pull vehicle belt out and thread it through the forward-facing

belt path (Fig. C).

Verify vehicle belt is not twisted and buckle (Fig. D).

from tether to secure. Store excess webbing

in the tether pouch. See pages 25 – 28.

Verify that the vehicle belt is tight, locked, and child seat is secure.

The child seat is secure when it cannot be moved front-to-back or

side-to-side more than 1 inch (2.5 cm.) at the belt path.
