Select the last visited web address
Select Last web addr. .
Search the web
If you search for the first time, select a
search provider. Then select Search , enter
the search terms, and select Search .
Change the search provider
Select Options > Change provider .
After you connect to the service, you can
start browsing its pages. The function of
the phone keys may vary among different
services. Follow the instructions. For more
information, contact your service
provider.
Web uploads
On the web page of your online sharing
service, you can view uploaded images
and videos and modify settings (network
service).
Select
Menu > Internet and Web
uploads .
Open an online sharing service
Select an online sharing service and a link
offered by the service.
Modify settings
When an online sharing service is open,
select Options > Settings .
Browser settings
While browsing the web, select
Options > Settings and from the
following:
Display — Select the font size, whether
images are displayed, and how the text is
displayed.
General — Select the encoding type for
the contents, whether web addresses are
sent as Unicode (UTF-8), and whether
JavaScript™ is enabled.
Available options may vary.
Cache memory
A cache is a memory location that is used
to store data temporarily. If you have tried
to access or have accessed confidential
information requiring passwords, empty
the cache after each use. The information
or services you have accessed are stored
in the cache.
A cookie is data that a site saves in the
cache memory of your device. Cookies are
saved until you clear the cache memory.
Clear the cache
While browsing, select Options >
Tools > Clear the cache .
Allow or prevent cookies
Select Menu > Internet and Web
settings > Security > Cookies .
Browser security
Security features may be required for
some services, such as banking services or
online shopping. For such connections
you need security certificates and possibly
a security module, which may be available
on your SIM card. For more information,
contact your service provider.
To view or modify the security module
settings, or to view a list of authority or
user certificates downloaded to your
device, select Menu > Settings and
Security > Security module , Auth.
