The player does not start
playback.
• No disc is inserted.
• Insert a disc.
• An unplayable disc is inserted.
• Insert a playable disc. (Check the disc type, colour system and region
number.)
• The disc is inserted upside down.
• Insert the disc with the playback side down.
• The disc is not inserted securely.
• Insert the disc securely in the disc holder.
• The disc is dirty.
• Clean the disc.
• The parental lock function is set.
• Change the parental lock level.
Playback does not follow the
course of the disc’s program.
• It is in the repeat playback mode, memory
playback, etc.
• These operations may prevent a proper progression of the contents.
Buttons do not work.
• Power supply fluctuations or other
abnormalities such as static electricity may
interrupt correct operation.
• Turn the power off then turn it on. Or disconnect the AC adapter and
insert it into the wall outlet again.
The remote control does not
work properly.
• The remote control is not pointed at the
remote sensor of the player.
• Point the remote control at the remote sensor of the player.
• The remote control is too far from the
player.
• Operate the remote control within about 3 m (9.9 feet).
• The battery in the remote control is
exhausted.
• Replace the battery with new one.
• The player’s remote sensor is exposed to a
strong light source such as direct sunlight
or other illumination.
• Avoid the player from being exposed to a strong light source.
MP3 convert fails.
• The format of the SD card is not supported
on this player.
• Use an SD card formatted in FAT16 or FAT32.
• The SD card is write-protected.
• Unlock the card.
• A copy-protected audio CD is loaded.
• A copy-protected audio CD cannot be used on this feature.
• Depending on the disc, this feature may
not work.
• Try other discs.
