Registration Server
The Registration Server contains a database of all computers that
have registered as users of the RAID Server. Before any computer
running RAID Server can use MegaRAID Configuration Console,
it must be registered in the Registration Server.
Registering host machine in Registration Server
Confirm that “localhost” is located in the following file:
MegaRAID Web Server
This application runs on MegaRAID Server and response to Inter-
net browser request. The browser connects directly to LSI Logic’s
own specialized RAID aware WebServer that has the Java Bean
built within itself. By default installation sets the Web Server port
number to 5555.
NOTE: LSI Logic WebServer can coexist with any other
WebServer that you might currently have in your machine.
LSI Logic WebServer can be configured to listen to any port
of the your choice, and hence any potential conflict can be
easily avoided.
This solution does not need any third party software and is
totally platform independent.
