About the Indications
The following is an explanation of the indications in the Head Unit’s display.
Indications that light when Function is switched ON

NET Service Follow (Service Follow) 20
LANG Language Filter (Language Filter) 15
WTHR* Area Weather Flash (Weather) 17
ANNC* Announce (Announce) 17
NEWS* News Flash (News) 17
TRFC* Road Traffic Flash or Transport Flash 17
* If the set Announcement Support is received, the icon on the right lights.
DAB Status Indications
Indicator Status
EXTRA The currently received Service has a Secondary Service Component.
TEXT The currently received Service has a Dynamic Label.
DAB When DAB reception is possible.
Note:
• If there’s no sound even when “DAB” is lit, refer to “Selecting the Service” on page 10, and switch
Services. (The Service you were listening to may have ended.)
• Head Unit Group 2 units do not feature a “DAB” indicator.
Switching Power ON/OFF
Each press of the SOURCE button selects DAB as follows.
Built-in CD Player
= Tuner = DAB = Multi-MD Player = Multi-CD Player
= External Unit = AUX = ...
• To switch the sources OFF, hold down the SOURCE button for 1 second.
