Equipment
When it is off
Interruption is by the first received news flash from among Pioneer AV Head Unit’s RDS and
the hide-away DAB traffic information broadcasts.
1 Press 5 or ∞ to select “DAB PRIORITY” from the INITIAL SETTINGS MENU, and
press A.MENU (AUDIO) button.
2 Select DAB Priority on or off with
5/∞.
Pressing
5/∞ will switch DAB PRIORITY between “ON” or “OFF”.
■Switching Auto PI Seek
The Pioneer AV Head Unit can automatically search for a different station with the same pro-
gramming, even during preset recall.
1 Press
5 or ∞ to select “RDS AUTO PI” from the INITIAL SETTINGS MENU, and press
A.MENU (AUDIO) button.
2 Select AUTO PI Seek on or off with
5/∞.
Pressing
5/∞ will switch AUTO PI between “ON” and “OFF”.
■Switching the warning tone
If the operation panel of AV Head Unit is not detached from the AV Head Unit within five
seconds of turning off the ignition, a warning tone will sound. You can turn off this warning
tone.
1 Press
5 or ∞ to select “DETACH WARNING” from the INITIAL SETTINGS MENU, and
press A.MENU (AUDIO) button.
2 Select the warning tone on or off with 5/∞.
Pressing 5/∞ will switch WARNING TONE between “ON” and “OFF”.
■Switching the auxiliary setting
It is possible to use auxiliary equipment with Pioneer AV Head Unit (AVH-P6400CD or
AVH-P6400R). Activate the auxiliary setting when using auxiliary equipment connected to
Pioneer AV Head Unit (AVH-P6400CD or AVH-P6400R).
1 Press 5 or ∞ to select “AUX (AUXILIARY)” from the INITIAL SETTINGS MENU, and
press A.MENU (AUDIO) button.
2 Select the auxiliary setting on or off with 5/∞.
Pressing 5/∞ will switch AUX between “ON” and “OFF”.
■Selecting the illumination colour
Pioneer AV Head Unit (AVH-P6400CD or AVH-P6400R) is equipped with two illumination
colours, green and red. You can select the desired illumination colour.
1 Press 5 or ∞ to select “ILLUMINATION” from the INITIAL SETTINGS MENU, and
press A.MENU (AUDIO) button.
2 Select the desired illumination colour with 2 2 2 2 / 3 3 3 3.
Pressing 2 2 2 2 / 3 3 3 3 will switch ILLUMINATION between red and green.
