Support panels or any oversized workpiece to minimize the risk of

wheel pinching and kickback. Large workpieces tend to sag under

their own weight. Supports must be placed under the workpiece near

the line of cut and near the edge of the workpiece on both sides of the

wheel.
Keeping rip fence parallel to the saw blade.
MOVE the rip fence out of the way when cross-cutting.
Keep the floor area free of loose material e.g. chips and cut-offs.
Replace the table insert when worn
Adjust the riving knife as described in this instruction manual. Incorrect

spacing, positioning and alignment can make the riving knife ineffec-

tive in preventing kickback.
The handle lock must always be engaged when transporting the

circular table saw.
Do not use the top protective cover as a handle for transportation!
Before transporting the machine, make sure that the top protective

guard covers the top section of the saw blade.
In spite of compliance with all relevant design regulations, dangers may

still present themselves when the machine is operated, e.g.

- workpiece parts being thrown off,

- parts of damaged tools being thrown off,

- noise emissions,

- wood dust emissions.

SPECIFIED CONDITIONS OF USE

Use this circular saw to cut only wood and wood like products.

Do not use this product in any other way as stated for normal use.

MAINS CONNECTION

Connect only to single-phase AC current and only to the system

voltage indicated on the rating plate. It is also possible to connect to

sockets without an earthing contact as the design conforms to safety

class II.

MAINTENANCE

Remove dust regularly. Remove the sawdust which has accummulated

inside the saw in order to avoid the risk of fire.
Use only AEG accessories and spare parts. Should components need to

be replaced which have not been described, please contact one of our

AEG service agents (see our list of guarantee/service addresses).
If needed, an exploded view of the tool can be ordered. Please state

the machine type printed as well as the six-digit No. on the label and

order the drawing at your local service agents or directly at: Techtronic

Industries GmbH, Max-Eyth-Straße 10, 71364 Winnenden, Germany.

Accessory - Not included in standard equipment,

available as an accessory.
Do not dispose of electric tools together with household

waste material! In observance of European Directive

2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment

and its implementation in accordance with national law,

electric tools that have reached the end of their life must

be collected separately and returned to an environmen-

tally compatible recycling facility.

Class II construction, tool in which protection against

electric shock does not rely on basic insulation only, but

in which additional safety precautions, such as double

insulation or reinforced insulation, are provided.
