Scan operations
Search for an e-mail address
1. Press the MODE key repeatedly until SCAN READY
screen is displayed.
2. Touch the E-MAIL tab.
3. Touch SEARCH.
4. Input a keyword.
5. Touch EXECUTE.
Search results are displayed.
Fax operations
Send a fax
1. Position the original(s).
2. Press the MODE key repeatedly until FAX READY screen is
displayed.
3. Type in the fax number and touch ENTER.
4. Press the START key.
Scan to e-mail (Direct input)
1. Position the original(s).
2. Press the MODE key repeatedly until SCAN
READY screen is displayed.
3. Touch ADVANCED.
4. Touch MAIL ADDRESS.
5. Enter the destination address.
6. Touch ENTER.
7. Touch CLOSE.
8. Press the START key.
Registering destinations (local address book)
1. Touch SETTING on MY MFP MENU screen.
2. Touch REGISTER.
3. Touch ADDRESS BOOK ENTRY.
4. Touch ENTER/EDIT.
5. Select a registration number.
6. Enter the desired destination information and touch ENTER.
7. Touch CLOSE.
Scan to USB memory
1. Position the original(s).
2. Press the MODE key repeatedly until SCAN
READY screen is displayed.
3. Touch the PC/USB tab, and then USB.
4. Connect the USB memory to the machine.
5. Press the START key.
6. To finish scanning touch COMPLETE
7. When the message SCAN READY is displayed, disconnect
the USB memory.
Sending data to multiple destinations
1. Position the original(s).
2. Press the MODE key repeatedly until SCAN
READY screen is displayed.
3. Touch the E-MAIL tab.
4. Specify two or more recipients.
5. Press the START key.
