Replacing the hard disk drive
To replace the hard disk drive
1. Remove the computer stand. Refer to “Removing the computer stand”.
2. Remove the computer cover. Refer to “Removing the computer cover”.
3. Remove the 4 screws that secure the hard disk drive to the chassis.
4. Disconnect the data and power cables from the hard disk drive.
5. Lift up the hard disk drive from the chassis.
6. Remove the screw that secures the hard disk drive to the drive bay.
Slide the hard disk drive out of the drive bay.
7. Install the new hard disk drive.
(1.) Insert the new hard disk drive into the drive bay.
(2.) Screw back the new hard disk drive to drive bay.
8. Connect the data and power cables back to the hard disk drive.
