1040 Solid State Disk (U300s)
For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• “1010 Base cover (U300s)” on page 54
• “1020 Battery pack (U300s)” on page 56
• “1030 Speakers (U300s)” on page 57
Attention:
• Do not drop the solid state disk or apply any physical shock to it. The hard
disk drive is sensitive to physical shock. Improper handling can cause damages
and permanent loss of data.
• Before removing the drive, suggest the customer to backup all the information on
it if possible.
• Never remove the drive while the system is operating or is in suspend mode.

Unplug two connectors in the direction shown by arrow
1 , remove two screws
2 , and then remove the solid state disk in the direction shown by arrow 3 .
