7. Maintenance and cleaning
7.1 Maintenance
„ The instruments are maintenance-free.
„
The indicator should be checked once or twice every year. The
gauge must be disconnected from the process to check with a
pressure testing device.
„
Repairs must only be carried out by the manufacturer or appropri-
ately qualified skilled personnel.
7.2 Cleaning
Suitable for ‚in place‘ SIP and CIP cleaning processes, if appropriate
media are used and the permissible specifications are complied with.
When cleaning from outside („wash down“), observe the permissible
temperature and ingress protection.
CAUTION!
„
Wash or clean the dismounted instrument before
returning it, in order to protect persons and the
environment from exposure to residual media.
8. Faults
Following any failure or shut-down of the plant all instruments should
be checked and, if necessary, replaced before recommissioning the
plant.
