1. Safety instructions
The appropriate national safety regulations (i.e. EN 837-2 Selec-
tion and installation recommendations for pressure gauges) must
be observed when installing, commissioning and operating these
instruments.
„ Serious injuries and/or damage can occur should the appropriate regulations
not be observed
„ Only appropriately qualified personnel should work on these instruments
„ The actual maximum surface temperature is not generated by the
instruments themselves, but primarily by the respective medium temperature!
For maximum permissible medium temperatures see Table 2.
2. Description
„ Nominal size 100 and 160 mm
„ The pressure gauges measure the pressure with elastic diaphragm measuring
elements
„ The measuring characteristics are in accordance with the EN 837-3 standards
„ In addition, the case, bezel ring and the pressurised components of Model
73x.31 also meet the requirements of this standard, relating to safety pattern
pressure gauges with a solid baffle wall (code S3).
