• Switch your attached device ON. Your Vacuum will now start
• When the attached device is switched off, there will be a 6 second delay before
the vacuum motor stops
Maintenance
Ensure the mains plug is disconnected
• Always fully empty the vacuum after use
• Clean the Foam Filter (10) with a mild soapy solution.
Rinse and allow to dry
• Clean the Fabric Filter (15) with a mild soapy solution.
Rinse and allow to dry
• Clean all plastic parts with a damp cloth and mild soapy solution
• Check the hoses, attachments and power cable. Make sure they have received
no damage
Operating Instructions
Wet & Dry vacuum cleaning
1. Ensure your vacuum is assembled correctly for the task.
(See Assembly)
2. Check that ON/OFF Switch (1) is in the '0' (OFF) position
3. Check that the Power Take Off Switch (23) is set to '-'
4. Plug the vacuum into the mains power supply (See specification)
5. Switch on by pressing 'I' on the ON/OFF Switch (1)
6. Switch off by pressing '0' on the ON/OFF Switch (1)
Wet vacuuming notes
• Ensure the inside of the Waste Container (6) and the Filter Frame (21) are clean
and free from dirt before you start
• Make sure the Liquid Waste Outlet (17) is fully closed and hand tight
• "Open the Bleed Valve (3), situated on the Hand Grip (2), during wet vacuuming,
by turning the bleed valve until the arrows line up and air is drawn into the holes
• When the Waste Container (6) is full, the Float Valve (20) will close. You will
notice an increase in motor speed and loss of suction when this happens
To drain the liquid:
1. Unplug the Vacuum from the mains power supply
2. Disconnect any attachments from the small end of the Suction
Hose (18)
3. Lift the small end of the suction hose up above your head so that
any liquid runs down into the Waste Container (6)
4. Position your vacuum so that the Liquid Waste Outlet (17) is above the
drainage area
NOTE: Make sure that no perishable object or material is within 3 metres of the
Liquid Waste Outlet (17)
5. Unscrew the liquid waste outlet cap and allow the liquid to drain. Undo the
Clasps (5) and remove the Power Unit (22)
6. Tip the rest of the liquid from the Waste Container (6)
Blowing
1. Ensure the inside of the Waste Container (6) and the Filter Frame (21), are
clean and free from dirt before you start
2. Ensure that the Foam Filter (10) is clean and dry, then fit it to the filter frame
as shown in Fig. C
3. Replace the Power Unit (22) on top of the Waste Container (6)
4. Close both Clasps (5)
5. Attach the Suction Hose (18) to the Air Outlet (25)
WARNING: Point the small end of the Suction Hose (18) well away from any
object or person; some dirt and water from inside the vacuum may be released
at high speed
6. Switch on the vacuum
7. Wait a few minutes for any waste to release from the end of the hose before
blowing
Attachment Notes
• The bristles underneath the Floor Brush (8) can be raised and lowered by
pressing the Brush Switch (9)
• The Extending Tube (4) can be adjusted to suit the user. Slide the Tube Latch (7)
to adjust the length
• The Hose Adaptor (13) can be used to attach different sized hoses, useful when
clearing up liquids
Using the Power Take Off (PTO)
Function
• Your vacuum can be used with another electrical device.
NOTE: The device must
not exceed 1000W (1kW)
• Check that the ON/OFF Switch (1) is in the '0' (OFF) position
• Plug the vacuum into the mains power supply (See specification)
• If the device has a power switch, make sure it is turned OFF
• Plug the device into the Power Take Off Socket (24)
• Press the PTO Switch (23) to '='
• Press the ON/OFF switch to 'I' ON
NOTE: At this point, if your attached device is not switched ON, your vacuum will
not be operating
