SKIMMER INSTALLATION
SPA AND HOT TUB
1) Locate a flat surface approximately 4”x 12” where the skimmer will mount flush to the wall.
NOTE: The skimmer can be mounted over the tile if necessary to obtain a flat surface.
2) Center the skimmer plate to the normal water line.
3) From the top of the skimmer, 8 1/2” down, mark a spot and drill a hole using a 2 1/2” hole saw for the
thru wall fitting.
4) Install the skimmer thru wall fitting with the gasket on the back or front using silicone as a seal, and secure
using the straight or 90° backing nut.
5) Holding the skimmer face plate in position, insert the skimmer grate thru the skimmer and thread it into the
thru wall fitting hand tight.
6) Making sure the skimmer is properly positioned (straight up and down), drill a 5/32” diameter hole through
the wall using the hole at the top of the skimmer face plate as a guide.
7) Using a small amount of silicone on the hole and screw, insert the screw through the face and thread it into
the
wall.
NOTE: USE MULTIPLE SUCTION OUTLETS. IF FITTING BREAKS, REPLACE IT.
