To manually lock your phone:
Press s > } Settings > Security > Phone Lock > Lock Now,
then enter your four-digit unlock code.
To automatically lock your phone whenever you turn
it off: Press
s
> } Settings > Security > Phone Lock
> Automatic Lock > On, then enter your four-digit unlock
code.
Note: You can make emergency calls on a locked
phone (see page 41). A locked phone still rings or
vibrates for incoming calls or messages, but you
need to unlock it to answer.

Caution: If you enter an incorrect PIN code three
times before the correct code, your SIM card is
disabled and your display shows SIM Blocked.
Lock or unlock the SIM card:

Enter your unlock code to open a list of applications
(such as Messaging). Select an application and choose
Locked to lock it.
