Using the camcorder abroad

You can use the battery charger (supplied), and the AC Adaptor (supplied) in any
country or region where the power supply is within AC 100 V to 240 V, 50 Hz/60 Hz.

• Do not use an electronic transformer (travel converter), as this may cause a malfunction.

To view movies recorded on the camcorder on a TV, you must use a TV (or monitor)
equipped with an HDMI connector and an HDMI cable (sold separately). In addition, the
television system of the TV must comply with the output signal system of the camcorder.
Countries/regions that use each television system are as follows.

1080 60i (NTSC)

Bahama Islands, Bolivia, Canada, Central America, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Jamaica,
Japan, Korea, Mexico, Peru, Surinam, Taiwan, the Philippines, the U.S.A., Venezuela,
etc.

1080 50i (PAL)

Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland,
Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, New
Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Rumania, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Spain,
Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, Viet Nam, etc.
