If the AIBO
®
Entertainment Robot says, “I can’t see your face”
•
Slowly lift the AIBO robot up until the color camera
(in its nose) is at the same height as your face.
•
If room brightness differs from that when it learned
your face, it may not be able to recognize you.
•
When teaching the AIBO robot to recognize your
face, make sure your face is even with the camera,
without tilting it right or left.
•
If you are wearing a distinctive item, such as thick-
rimmed glasses, the AIBO robot may not be able to
identify you.
•
If your hair is covering your face, the AIBO robot
may not be able to identify you.
•
If the room is dark, or the light is coming from behind you, the AIBO robot may not be
able to identify you. Perform this setting in a bright room. Fluorescent lighting is
recommended.
