The drying process takes
unusually long
Heat exchanger covered
with fluff
Cleaning the heat
exchanger
Fluff filter clogged
Clean the fluff filter
The fill-in door cannot be
closed
Fluff filter not inserted
and/or filter lid not
latched
Insert the fluff filter and/
or let the filter lid latch
into position
The drum illumination is not
functioning
Program selector set to
OFF
Turn the program selector
to the setting LIGHT or
set a drying program
Filament bulb defective
Replace the filament bulb
(see next section)
Display
Z EMPTY WATER is
lit
Condensate container full
Empty the condensate
container
Z EMPTY WATER indicator
illuminated, even though the
container has already been
emptied
Foreign bodies, e. g. ani-
mal hairs, can block the
inlet nozzle as well as the
valve on the end of the
EMPTY WATER container
With the container pulled
out, switch on the
appliance momentarily.
The blockage can be
removed from the contai-
ner shaft or the hair clea-
ned out of the valve
