Notes on Using This Connection

Watch the satellite receiver Press TV/VIDEO repeatedly to select the VCR input (VIDEO 1 in the illustration).
The VCR may need to be turned on and set to the satellite receiver input.

Set up the remote control to
operate the satellite receiver or
VCR If you have a non-Sony VCR or satellite receiver, you must program the remote
control. See “Programming the Remote Control” on page 58.
Activate the remote control to
operate the satellite receiver or
VCR For the satellite receiver, press SAT/CABLE (FUNCTION) . For the VCR, press
DVD/VCR (FUNCTION) .
