Replacing the Internal Backup Battery
The backup battery will last about three years. When the battery is low
on power, replace it with a Sony lithium battery CR2025 or compatible.
To replace the backup battery

Turn off the computer and connected devices, then unplug all the
cables.

Unscrew the battery cover to open it.

Remove the battery.
4 Insert a new battery and close the cover.
Follow the procedure below to set the clock.
To set date and time
After replacing the backup battery, be sure to set the time as follows:

Turn on the computer.
The message “Press to resume, to Setup” appears at the
bottom of the display.

Press F2.
The BIOS Setup menu starts.
