For the Customers Using Xperia Link with
Windows 8
(The following is not applicable to the customers with Windows 7.)
When you perform the initial setup of Xperia Link on your VAIO computer and Xperia™, the
setup may fail with an error message on Xperia™. In such a case, follow these steps.

Open the desktop.

Right-click (the BLUETOOTH icon) in the desktop notification area and select Open
Settings.

In the settings window, select the Options tab, the Allow Bluetooth devices to find this
PC check box, and OK.
After the initial setup on the computer and Xperia™ is complete, clear the check box that you
selected in step 3.

Lorsque vous effectuez la configuration initiale de Xperia Link sur votre ordinateur VAIO et
sur Xperia™, il se peut qu’elle échoue et qu’un message d’erreur s’affiche sur Xperia™. Le cas
échéant, suivez les étapes ci-dessous.

Ouvrez le bureau.

Faites un clic droit sur (l’icône BLUETOOTH) dans la zone de notification du bureau,
puis sélectionnez
Ouvrir les paramètres.

Dans la fenêtre de paramètres, sélectionnez l’onglet Options, cochez la case Autoriser
les périphériques Bluetooth à détecter ce PC, puis cliquez sur OK.
Une fois terminée la configuration initiale sur l’ordinateur et sur Xperia™, décochez la case
que vous avez cochée à l’étape 3.
