Preparing to make a dial-up connection

Turn on the Bluetooth cell phone or modem and set it to
allow discovery.
For details, see the manual provided with the cell phone.

Turn on the computer and insert the Bluetooth USB adapter
into the USB port (page 14).

Click the “Start” button and click “Control Panel”.

Click the “Network and Internet Connections” icon.

Click the “Network Connections” icon.
The “Network Connections” window appears.

Click “Create a new connection”.
The “Welcome to the New Connection Wizard” window appears.

Click “Next”, check that “Connect to the Internet” is selected,
and click “Next”.
If the option is not selected, click

When you click “Next”, the “Getting Ready” window appears.

For the item “Set up my connection manually”, click

The “Internet Connection” window appears.
