Large waste such as cardboard cups,
cardboard plates, strings and similar ob-
jects must be picked up prior to vacuum-
ing.
Î
Insert the plug into the socket.
Î
Set the appliance switch to "ON".
Î
Ride along the surface to be cleaned
with a suitable, even speed.
Î
Heavy soiling must be worked on several
times or slower.

Warning!
Risk of damage to the floor covering. Do not
operate the appliance on the spot.
Î
Due to the one-sided arrangement of the
brushes, the right side of the appliance
can clean all the way to the edge.
Î
If the display for a full filter bag is illumi-
nated, switch the appliance off and re-
place the filter bag.

Warning
Risk of injury. Pull the plug from the mains
before carrying out any tasks on the appli-
ance.
Î
If needed, shake the contents of the filter
bag downward.
Î
Check the mains connection cable for
damages. Replace the defective mains
cable.
Î
Clean below the appliance.
Î
Remove fibres, hair and strings from the
brush rollers.
Î
Check and clean seals, replace dam-
aged seals.
Î
Clean brushes and check for wear and
tear.
The brushes are considered worn, if the
bristles have the same length as the yel-
low indicator bristles.
Î
Clean the motor protection filter on the
bottom of the filter chamber and check
for damage.
Î
Remove the wheels, clean the axles and
apply a thin coat of silicone grease.
Î
Open lid of filter chamber.
Î
Pull the filter bag off the connection hub
and remove them from the appliance.
Î
Insert new filter bag (see "Replacing filter
bag").
Î
Disconnect the main plug from the sock-
et.
Î
Tilt the appliance backward and store it
on the pushing handle.
