Large waste such as cardboard cups,
cardboard plates, strings and similar
objects must be picked up prior to vac-
uuming.
Insert the mains plug into the socket.
Set the appliance switch to "ON".
Ride along the surface to be cleaned
with a suitable, even speed.
Heavy soiling must be worked on sever-
al times or slower.
Caution
Risk of damage to the floor covering. Do
not operate the appliance on the spot.
Due to the one-sided arrangement of
the brushes, the right side of the appli-
ance can clean all the way to the edge.
If the display for a full filter bag is illumi-
nated, switch the appliance off and re-
place the filter bag.

Risk of injury and damage! Observe the
weight of the appliance when you transport
it.
When transporting in vehicles, secure
the appliance according to the guide-
lines from slipping and tipping over.

of the appliance in case of storage.
This appliance must only be stored in inte-
rior rooms.

Danger
First pull out the plug from the mains before
carrying out any tasks on the machine.
If needed, shake the contents of the fil-
ter bag downward.
Check the mains connection cable for
damages. Replace the defective mains
cable.
Clean below the appliance.
Remove fibres, hair and strings from
the brush rollers.
Check and clean seals, replace dam-
aged seals.
Clean brushes and check for wear and
tear.
The brushes are considered worn, if the
bristles have the same length as the
yellow indicator bristles.
Clean the motor protection filter on the
bottom of the filter chamber and check
for damage.
Remove the wheels, clean the axles
and apply a thin coat of silicone grease.
Open lid of filter chamber.
Pull the filter bag off the connection hub
and remove them from the appliance.
Insert new filter bag (see "Replacing fil-
ter bag").
