– From a safety point of view, industrial
vacuum cleaners with protection
against dust explosions are not suitable
for sucking in hazardous substances
that are explosive by nature, fluids and
mixtures of combustible dust with fluids
according to Section 1 of the Explosives
Act.
– Please follow the safety regulations ap-
plicable to the materials to be sucked in.
During proper/ improper use, the parts
(such as exhaust opening) of the indus-
trial vacuum cleaner can tolerate a
maximum of 95 °C.
– Vacuum cleaners, especially those with
a test certificate, may not be modified.
This applies in particular to the combi-
nation of entry element (nozzle), pipes,
wet scrubber and vacuum cleaner.
– A modification of vacuum cleaners (e.g.
changing the cross-section or length of
the suction hose) for special applica-
tions may only be performed with the
prior approval of the manufacturer.
– Prior to use, the flawless condition of
the vacuum cleaner including the elec-
tric supply line must be ensured.
In case of emergency (e.g. when suck-
ing in combustible materials, in case of
a short-circuit or some other electrical
defect), switch off the appliance and
pull the mains plug.
ƽ DANGER
Risk of explosion. Prior to each start-up,
check the water level in the containers (fill
level in the centre of the sight glass).
Put the unit into its working position, se-
curing it with the parking brake if neces-
sary.
Insert the suction hose into the suction
hose connection and lock it in place by
turning it in a clockwise direction.
Fill the container with water to the cen-
tre of the sight glass.
Add foam ex (RM 761), observe dosing
instructions.
Attach the desired accessories and turn
them clockwise.
Note: Additional regulations can be appli-
cable to dusts with an ignition capacity be-
low 1mJ.
Insert the appliance plug into the mains
socket. Do not use extension cables.
Switch on the appliance using the On/
Off switch (Position 1).
The machine is equipped with a suction
power monitor. The control lamp lights up if
the air speed in the suction hose falls below
20 m/s.
Check suction hose and attachments
for blocks.
The cartridge filter must also be re-
placed if the machine is used for long
periods.
Note: The control lamp can light up occa-
sionally during normal operation (e.g.,
while working with a floor nozzle), if the air
volume comes down (cross-sectional re-
duction) causing a low pressure.
Note: There is no defect in this case; only
an indication that, as specified above, the
air volume has reduced and the low pres-
sure has increased.
Note: If the container is full, a float closes
the suction opening, and the suction tur-
bine works at a higher speed. Switch off the
appliance immediately, and empty the con-
tainer.
