knowledge, unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety
or are instructed by these persons on
the use of the device. Children should
be supervised, to ensure that they do
not play with the device.

The operator must ensure that no ob-
jects that can be sucked in or thrown
away by the rotating disc are present in
the working area.

The operator must wear tight-fitting
clothes to avoid being trapped by rotat-
ing parts (no neck ties, no long wide
skirts, etc).

Safety switch levers must not be deac-
tivated (e.g. by clamping them).

Caution! Switch the appliance off imme-
diately in case foam or liquid escape!

Do not open the hood when the motor is
running.

On tilted surfaces, the tilt angle and the
driving direction should not exceed the
values given in the Operating Instruc-
tions.

The engine is to be brought to a standstill
and the appliance is to be fastened properly
during transportation.

Switch off the appliance prior to clean-
ing and performing any maintenance
tasks or replacing parts. In case of
mains operated appliances, remove the
mains plug; in case of battery-operated
appliances, pull out the battery plug or
clamp off the battery. Shut the device
off when switching to a different func-
tion.

Maintenance work may only be carried
out by approved customer service out-
lets or experts in this field who are famil-
iar with the respective safety
regulations.

Please observe the local safety regula-
tions regarding portable commercially
used appliances.

Always use appropriate gloves while
working on the device.

Only use accessories and spare parts
which have been approved by the manu-
facturer. The exclusive use of original ac-
cessories and original spare parts ensures
that the appliance can be operated safely
and troublefree.

Only a properly mounted tank allows a
non-hazardous operation.

To fill the tank, switch the appliance off,
pull the mains plug and make sure that
no liquids are spilled on the device.
