DEVICES* Ignition for
GAS BURNERS*
* Only available on certain models.
• ELECTRIC HOTPLATES may have different
diameters and operate at different power levels.
These power levels may be “normal” or “rapid” (the
latter may be distinguished from the others by a red
spot in the middle of the hotplate).
• The ELECTRIC HOTPLATE INDICATOR LIGHT
switches on whenever the selector knob is moved
from the ‘off’ position.
• GAS BURNERS differ in size and power. Use the
diameter of the cookware to choose the most
appropriate burner to cook with.
• Control Knobs for GAS BURNERS and ELECTRIC
PLATES* adjust the power or the size of the flame.
• GAS BURNER ignition* enables a specific burner
to be lit automatically.
• SAFETY DEVICE* stops the gas flow if the flame is
accidentally extinguished.
