Wireless and Network Settings
To access Wireless and Network Settings:
ᮣ Press and tap > Settings .
– or –
Press and tap > Settings .
Activating Wi-Fi
1. Press and tap > Settings.
2. Tap the Wi-Fi OFF/ON slider to turn on
Wi-Fi.
3. Tap Wi-Fi again to access Wi-Fi networks.
Advanced Wi-Fi Settings
The advanced Wi-Fi settings allow you to set up and
manage wireless access points.
1. Press and tap > Settings > Wi-Fi , then tap
> Advanced .
2. Select one of the following:
Ⅲ Network Notification : alerts you when a new WAP
is available.
Ⅲ Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep : allows you to specify
when to disconnect from Wi-Fi. Options are:
Always, Only when plugged in, or Never (increase
data usage).
Ⅲ Wi-Fi frequency band : allows you to specify the
frequency range of operation. Choose from Auto,
5 GHz only, or 2.4 GHz only.
