Pairing and connecting the hands-free car kit with a phone
1.
Enter Pairing mode.
With the hands-free turned on, press and hold the Talk button for 4 seconds.

You will hear “Ready to pair. Search for the car kit from the Bluetooth menu.
Enter 0000 if prompted for a PIN.”
You can also use the voice command “

Pair Normal.”
If you turn on the hands-free car kit for the first time, it proceeds into Pairing

mode immediately.

Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone and search for the hands-free car
kit (see your phone’s user manual).

Select the hands-free car kit (HF4000) from the list of devices found by your
phone.

Enter the Bluetooth PIN 0000 (4 zeros) to pair and connect the hands-free car
kit to your phone.
Your hands-free car kit supports the Simple Pairing feature which allows the
hands-free car kit to be paired with a phone without requesting a PIN. This feature
is available for phones that are compliant with Bluetooth version 2.1 or higher.
The hands-free car kit also can be paired via the Active pairing feature, see page 21.
