6.1.9 Load startup screen (254 64 [40 characters])

This command sets and memorizes the startup screen that will appear each time the display is turned on.

By default the screen shows;

The 40 characters define the two 20 character rows of the screen.

If sending more than 10 characters to be stored, add in a ~10ms per character delay. Predefined custom

characters can be used in the “Start up Screen” as well, by using 0x00 through 0x07 characters.

6.1.10 General purpose output off (254 86 [gpo #])

This command turns OFF any of the general purpose outputs. [gpo #] is 1 to 6. Note that OFF means

that the output is high.

6.1.11 General purpose output on (254 87 [gpo #])

This command turns ON any of the general purpose outputs. [gpo #] is 1 to 6. ON means that the output

is pulled low (ground via 240ohms).

6.1.12 Remember GPO State (254 195 [gpo#][gpo value])

This command will set the startup state of all the GPO’s. When the device is powered up the next time,

the GPO’s will be set to the values from this command. [gpo#] is referenced to the GPO in which you select

to remember. [gpo value] is referenced to the state of the gpo that is to be remembered. “1” being “on” and

“0” being “off”.
