RESYNCHRONIZATION

Resynchronization of the protocol may be attempted at three consecutive levels. If one level is
unsuccessful, then the next level is tried:

• For the host:

1. retransmission of frames
2. use of S(RESYNC request)
3. device reset or deactivation

• For the device:

1. retransmission of frames
2. use of S(RESYNC request)
3. without any action from the host, the device becomes idle
