2.4 Installing the RocketU Mac Card



Note: Make sure the Mac Pro system is powered-off before installing the RU series controller.

1.

Open the system chassis and locate an unused PCI-Express (2.0 or 1.0) ×4 slot. The RocketU Mac card
can also be installed into x8 and x16 slots.

2.

Remove the PCI-Express slot cover.

3.

Gently insert the RocketU Mac card into the PCI-Express slot, and secure the bracket to the system
chassis.

4.

Close and secure the system chassis.
