Check your vehicles fill line to insure you have the correct kit before starting installation.
1) Install
the
roll
over
valve
into
the
fill
line
adaptor.
2) Determine
how
much
of
the
factory
fill
line
has
to
cut
out
to
make
room
for
the
fill
line
adaptor.
Generally this is about 1 ½”.
3) After cutting the fill line, install the fill line adaptor as horizontal as possible, with the roll over
valve upright.
4) Secure
the
adaptor
with
the
large
hose
clamps.
5) Remove
the
drain
plug
from
the
auxiliary
tank,
and
install
the
shut
off
valve.
6) Install
the
brass
barb
into
the
shut
off
valve.
7) Attach
the
fuel
hose
to
the
brass
barb
using
one
of
the
small
hose
clamps.
8) Drill
a
¾”
hole
through
the
bed
of
the
truck
for
the
fuel
hose.
Check
the
underside
of
the
bed
before drilling to make sure there are no obstructions.
9) Make sure that the drill hole is free of burrs and sharp edges that may puncture the fuel hose.
Apply a rust inhibitor (not included) to the edges of the drilled hole.
10) Feed
the
fuel
hose
through
the
hole.
11) Cut
the
fuel
hose
to
the
correct
length
needed
to
reach
the
roll
over
valve
in
the
fill
line
adaptor.
12) Attach
the
fuel
hose
to
the
roll
over
using
a
small
hose
clamp.
13) Add
diesel
fuel
to
the
auxiliary
tank
and
open
the
shut
off
valve.
Check
every
connection
for
leaks.
OPEN
THE
SHUT
OFF
VAVLE
TO
TRANSFER
DIESEL
FUEL
FROM
THE
AUXILIARY
TANK
TO
THE
FACTORY
TANK.
CLOSE
THE
SHUT
OFF
VALVE
WHEN
THE
FACTORY
TANK
IS
FULL.
ONLY
OPEN
THE
SHUT
OFF
VALVE
WHEN
THE
VEHICLE
IS
NOT
IN
MOTION
AND
MONITOR
YOUR
VEHICLE
FUEL
GAUGE
TO
PREVENT
OVER
FLOW.
THIS FILLER KIT IS NOT DESIGNED TO PROVIDE CONTINUOUS FLOW TO THE FACTORY TANK.
THIS FILLER KIT IS FOR DIESEL FUEL ONLY.
