Using the Deer Hoist
Make sure all bolts are tight. Double check that all pins are in there holes and have clips
attached. Crank the winch out until the gambrel pin is on the ground beside the animal. Attach
the animal to the gambrel through the front or rear legs. Select “Up on the winch and crank the
cable until you reach the desired height.
Loading into the Vehicle
When finished lifting / cleaning the animal, remove the upper pin from the swivel tube and turn
assembly around so that it is facing the back of your vehicle. Now slowly crank the animal back
down into your vehicle.
Important Warning:
Do NOT drive with any load secured to the hoist.
If driving with the hoist in the receiver make sure the winch is cranked all the way up and
gambrel is secured to the hoist. Failure to secure the gambrel may damage your vehicle.
This product is designed for lifting deceased animals, never try to lift a live animal or person.
