Tailgate Assist Installation
Remove cable from cable bolt then remove cable
bolt using torx T 50 socket or wrench. Tailgate
assist is installed on the driver side only.

Install (F) shock mounting plate using previously
removed cable bolt. Apply (G) Thread Lock to
cable bolt threads before installing. Tighten
using torx T50 socket or wrench.

Reinstall cable onto the cable bolt and the body
of the shock onto the ball mount of the shock
mounting plate.
